Content Guidelines

Overview

These Content Guidelines describe the kind of websites and content Adnyro placements can appear alongside. They apply to every publisher site on the network and supplement our Publisher Policy.

Prohibited Site Categories

Adnyro placements may not appear on sites that primarily host: illegal content or content facilitating illegal activity, malware or deceptive downloads, sexually explicit material, extreme violence, hate speech or content promoting discrimination, or content that infringes someone else's intellectual property.

Restricted Categories

Some categories are allowed only with additional review — for example, sites primarily about gambling, alcohol, or adult-adjacent lifestyle content. We evaluate these case by case as part of site approval.

General Content Standards

  • Sites should have a genuine content purpose for human readers — not be built primarily to generate ad clicks.
  • Sites should not use deceptive layouts that trick visitors into clicking placements by accident.
  • Sites should be reasonably free of intrusive pop-ups, forced redirects, or auto-playing audio that would degrade the reading experience around a placement.

Enforcement

Every website is reviewed by our team before it is approved to serve ads, and creatives and campaigns are reviewed before they can appear on the network — so nothing goes live unvetted. Today, enforcement of these Guidelines is carried out through this manual review process rather than fully automated, per-category publisher controls; automated category and advertiser blocking tools for publishers are on our roadmap. If you believe a site or placement violates these Guidelines, contact us.
